Shirley L. (nee Turner) Kauffman

Shirley L. Kauffman (nee Turner), 82, passed away Saturday evening, August 26, 2017 at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg. She was born Feb. 19, 1935 to Ulysses and Gladys (Huffman) Turner in Onego WV. She married Tuck Kauffman in Nashville, TN.
Shirley was a long time member of Thompson United Methodist Church. She was an incredibly hard worker and did so until 78 years old! She always said that she came from damn fine stock. Trussell; brothers, Lawrence (Mona) Turner, Jerry (Joan) Turner, Larry (Cindy) Turner, Jerl Wayne Turner; sisters, Leah Woods, Rheba Bennett, Dottie (Donald) Hawley; and the numerous nieces and nephews of Crazy Aunt Shirley. Shirley is preceded by her husband Tuck; daughter Melissa S. Kauffman; parents; brother Jerl Dodge Turner; brother-in-laws, Arthur Bud Woods, and William Fogarty.
Visitation will be 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Wed. Aug. 30, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison OH 44057. A funeral service with Pastor Jonathan Cooney will be held 11am Thurs. Laura,
So sad to hear of your Mother's passing. We will always remember your Mother's kindness to us and her delicious pies and of course the trip we took, which was sad, but it was something that had to be done. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
