Shirley A. Stephens, age 83, of Tucson, AZ passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Tucson Medical Center. She was born November 10, 1940 in Green Twp., Pennsylvania to Geneva (Little) and Thomas L. Stephens.
Shirley was a 1958 Graduate of Purchase Line, Pa. High School. She worked as a sales clerk for Penn Traffic Co. for 18 years and Fashion Bug for 25 years. She was a former member of Bible Baptist Church, Madison, OH, of Ernest Bible Church, Ernest, PA, and NorthPointe Baptist Church in Chandler, AZ. She enjoyed being with friends and family, traveling, shopping, cooking and baking.
She is survived by her cousin, Katie (Vince) Corrine; longtime family friends, the Donald and Kimberly Benedum family, and the Paul and Karen Piendzik family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; cousins, Coletta (Marlin) Endsley and Alvin (Connie) Little; best friend and companion, Sally Henry.
Friends will be received 2-3pm, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Bowser Minich Funeral Home, 500 Ben Franklin Road South, Indiana, PA 15701. Funeral service will immediately follow, 3pm, at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Greenwood Cemetery.

Shirley was a wonderful neighbor to my Mother, Lorraine Jones-Hoak when she lived in Indiana PA. May God wrap his arms around her family during this difficult time.
My family loved Shirley. She and my mother worked together ant PT and were great friends. I always remember Shirley smiling and laughing! Rest in love sweet wonderful Shirley.
