Sherri Tidy
April 12, 1942 ~ June 4, 2024
Sherri Tidy, age 82 of Concord, passed away on Saturday morning, May 25, 2024 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing Home. Born April 12, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Robert and Katherine (Harper) Pyle.
Over the years Sherri was an active member of 4H of Lake County where she was a founding member of the Midnight Riders. She guided many young 4h members to be great with life skills, crafting, taking proper care of horses. She also loved going West Virginia on very scenic vacations with her late husband Gary. They would visit with family have cook outs and just enjoy the time spent with loved ones from West Virginia and Ohio family. Sherri always loved to bake bread and as she put it made the best baked beans to go along with the hot dogs and hamburgs.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Matt Minnick, Richard David Tidy III (Jenny), Lacey Jarvis (Josh), Amanda Palermo (Steve), and Josh Tidy (Alyssa); 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Wilcox and Betty Zelenak. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Lori Minnick and Terry Tidy; son Richard David Tidy II.
A Celebration of Sherri’s Life will take place at a later date and will be announced on Facebook.
