Sharron Lee (Humphrey) Korensek
March 3, 1958 ~ November 7, 2023
Our dear mother Sharron Lee (Humphrey) Korensek sadly passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 65. She was born on March 3, 1958 to Dale and Catherine (Wellman) Humphrey. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She was the strongest woman we know, she was the most caring, thoughtful, and loving mother.
Sharron worked as a pharmacy technician but her most proud job was being a mother. She loved being a mom and a grandma. It was her greatest joy in life.
She loved spending quality time with her children and grandkids. Nicole was not only her daughter but also her best friend. They had a unbreakable bond that not everyone gets blessed enough to experience. Joshua was her only and favorite son, they shared a special bond together. Shelby was her youngest, her baby. She may be all grown up now with kids of her own but she was and will always be her baby. Caitlin and her mother bonded over their faith in Christ and she learned how to be strong from her. She taught us that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.
She enjoyed life through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, going to church, listening to music and going to see live bands, dancing, and going out to breakfast.
She is survived by her mother, Catherine Humphrey; children, Nicole Rohm, Josh Korensek, Caitlin Anderson, and Shelby Hrutkay. Eight beautiful grandchildren: Justin Rohm (21), Harper Korensek (9), Harlie Korensek (6), Ava Anderson (7), Everett Anderson (5), Eli Anderson (1), Blake Hrutkay (5), Blaire Hrutkay (2). Her dear friends, Kelly Carver, Anne Zalar, and Kelly Winters. She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Humphrey.
Sharron is up in Heaven now watching over all of us. She is FINALLY eating that giant piece of chocolate cake that she has been dreaming about for years.
A Memorial Service will be held for Sharron on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Rd., Madison OH, 44057.

Mom, I cannot believe you are no longer here. I don’t know how to do life without you here. I’ve wanted to call you a million times to tell you everything that’s happening. Thank you for always being there for me and for being my best friend. I love you so so much and I miss you so much already. I pray that you’re eating all the sweets you want and have no pain. I’ll see you again.
My favorite memories about Sharron were and still are when I used to babysit her while her mother and father were at work. She was a great little girl who grew into a very great lady. Her short lifespan was filled with a lot of trial and tribulations especially with her diabetes. However, Sharron fought off her medical issues with a lot of courage and stayed very positive during her fight. Sharron always put others health and welfare ahead of hers. The last time we talked my wife and I was wanting to visit her in Madison, Ohio and Sharron talked us out of visiting with her because of COVID issues in her living environment. She didn’t want us to be exposed to that virus. Thank you Sharron for all of your loving ways and we will always miss you, Rest In Peace Dear Sharron.

To Sharron’s family and friends,
Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. We are so happy that we got to meet Sharron. She was a special lady and loved by many. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a very special guardian angel to watch over you.
Our deepest sympathy,
Joe and Kathy Hrutkay
Although Sharron was my niece, she seemed like a sister to me during our childhood years. She was only a year and a half younger than I was and we had some fun times. She’d stay at my house for a week in the summer and I likewise at hers along with many other get togethers.
She was kind, sweet, and friendly. Those wonderful memories of the years we spent together never have faded. Thank you Sharron!
My sympathies and prayers to Nicole, Josh, Caitlin, and Shelby. Also to Mom Cathy and siblings Sherry, Stephanie, and Stacey.
