I am being selfish as I want you here with us but I know heaven gained a beautiful woman and you are at peace. I will love you momma forever and a day.

I will always miss you. My friend told me, our mothers teach us everything except how to live without them. This speaks so much truth. I love you mom!

Losing you is something I never wanted to imagine. You were more than just my grandmother; you were a source of love, comfort, wisdom, and so many memories that I will carry with me forever.

I will always cherish the time we shared, the conversations, the laughter, and all the little moments that made having you in my life so special. Your love helped shape the person I am today, and I will forever be grateful that I got to call you my Grandmother.

Although my heart hurts knowing you are no longer here, I’m finding comfort in knowing that your love will never leave me. I will carry your memory with me in everything I do and tell the stories of you for years to come.

Thank you for loving me, believing in me, and giving me memories I will treasure forever.

Mrs Stephens…you always told me to call you Sharon…I said No, it’s a RESPECT thing!

From the day I met Jody we were the best of friends! You chauffered our little girl gang to DeRubertis & the bowling alley for teen nights on Saturdays…you allowed us rowdy girls be a part of your family, even occasionally yelling at us when we earned it!
When we were in your home for all the zany sleepovers …you were OUR MOM too, and we were blessed Jody, Jenny & Timmy shared you with us!! Just as Mr Stephens was our dad too!
You made us all feel welcome & like we BELONGED with you all!
I even attended church with you on Sundays
No matter the church it was at the time & you took joy knowing that your daughters friends loved God & enjoyed church! No matter how much time or distance…we have a bond like no other & I thank you for raising such an outstanding daughter that I am honored to have as a friend. A true one. That’s because of you being her mama! You did that!

Your laughter, sense of humor, kindness, wisdom, love and friendship affected all of your children’s friends and that positive vibration sent out ripples in the universe that will carry on forever!

You showed me what a true family is supposed to be like, unlike the very unhealthy one I grew up in.
Your hugs meant the world to this little abused girl growing up, and you made me a better person for it, which I then passed down as a mother to my kids & grandkids.
Mrs Stephen’s stopped a cycle of violence from continuing in my family by showing a little girl compassion, love & a sense of knowing that the world didn’t have to be the way it was in my household growing up. Things could be better.

The Stephens family influence, including Grandma & Grandpa Stephens down the street, made me a better person. I will also forever love & Miss Grandma & Grandpa Stephens as Jody and I went down the street to their little duplex at least once a week and more so during the summers just sit at the table w Grandma Stephens and chat…and she’d sneak us ice cream money for our adventures in Madison Village Square after school, weekends & summers.
Mrs Stephens herself took joy in always trying to bust us girls out being naughty…and NEVER catching us doing anything bad bc we just weren’t those kinds of girls! We were the fun, adventurous, sharing friends that looked out for each other no matter where we were or who we’d we’re with…and that’s because you raised a wonderful daughter, who was just like you..a fantastic friend! Your legacy will continue as you’ve really impacted the people around you!

After reconnecting on Facebook, she was always the FIRST one to offer prayers, support, wise discussion & the best advice!!
Her storytelling skills & sense of humor were legendary!
I am thankful to have had her as a friend & frankly she’s always felt like family to me…just as Jody has always been a best friend & sister to me.

You should be very proud of your kids, bc they are the BEST of YOU!
They’ve become amazing mother’s & spectacular grandmothers just as you were Mrs Stephens.

The ripples will continue to reverberate through time, as you left behind such a beautiful piece of you for all of us to share…the memories we have of you, yes, but you left with all of us in our hearts…a piece of you!
…that of which we pass on to our future generations because you made us all better people for having known you.

Immortal love is the goal…you’ve achieved it. You so unselfishly gave your life & in return You are so LOVED.

I know you immediately wrapped those loving arms around your Timmy…and you two are giggling away like the rascals that you both are up in Heaven!
Your big beautiful Sheepdog HAPPY & all your other animals passed now have you to look after them in heaven. You loved your pets as your children truly…and they were!

We all know we have another angel watching out for us all!

To make a short story long…I just want to say thank you Mrs Stephens. You made a BIG difference in my life & I will never ever forget you.
