Scott A. Bilek

Scott A. Bilek, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on November 20, 1972, in Painesville, Ohio, to Thomas and Jane (Sandstrom) Bilek.
Scott was known for his infectious spirit and his love for life. His enthusiasm for coloring and music filled his days with happiness. He proudly participated in the Special Olympics, competing in swimming, basketball, bocce, and bowling. Scott had a passion for 80s rock music, often dancing with joy to the tunes of his favorite big hair bands.
Scott loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, whose laughter brought him immense happiness. He cherished family gatherings where good food and laughter were always abundant.
Scott is survived by his loving sister, Heather (David) Staffiera, and brother, Darin (Kristina) Bilek; nephews, Ethan, Will and Tommy; nieces, Nina and Cecilia; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Scott is preceded in death by his parents. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2026, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison Ohio 44057, with a funeral service beginning at 12 PM. Scott’s final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery, with his mother and father.
Scott’s family expresses great thanks to Madison Health Care and Reserve Hospice for so kindly and gently caring for him.
