Sara M hart

Sara M. Hart, age 99 of Madison, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Rae Ann Skilled Nursing Home in Geneva. Born May 13, 1915 in Madison, she was the daughter of Georgia (Fuller) & Jesse Miller. Sara graduated from Madison High School in 1933 and was owner/operator of the Hart Farm. For over 40 years she sold produce at the Cleveland Eastside Farmers Market. Her speciality was raising gladiola, which she enjoyed and sold to florists. Sara participated and held office in many organizations including Progress Club, Farm Bureau, Park United Methodist Church, Madison School Board and was honored by Madison Township in 2011 as its oldest citizen. After retirement, Sara lived in Largo FL for 30 years. She enjoyed playing bridge, pinochle, reading, travel and sports. Most of all she enjoyed and loved her family. Sara is survived by her sons, Richard (Leah) and Ralph Hart of Madison, and Roland (Debbie) Hart of Geneva; 8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Hart; her parents and brothers, Roland, Lynn & Richard Miller. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Park United Methodist Church, 31 Park Street, Madison, OH 44057.
