Samuel Paul Hathaway Age 85 Resident of Madison Passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center in Geneva. Born April 13, 1923 in Madison to Inez (Potter) and Samuel Paul Hathaway . Married Colleen Edixon on May 13, 1943 Occupation: Was a supervisor of installers for Western Electric/AT&T Memberships and Affiliations: He was a 1941 graduate of Madison High School. Mr. Hathaway served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 112. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, member of the Madison/Lakeshore Lodge #307 and the Royal Arch Masons, Geneva Chapter #147. Mr. Hathaway also was active with the Shriners Valley of Cleveland and the Telecom Pioneers. He was a member of the YMCA and past president of the Madison Kiwanis Club. He had a deep love for his children and an appreciation of their personal education. He was affectionate, loving and truly enjoyed the Madison Community. He is survived by Wife: Colleen Hathaway of Madison Daughter Cheryl Hathaway of Madison 2 Sons Reggie (Joyce) Hathaway of Cleveland, TN Samuel (Marcia) Hathaway of Scandia, MN 5 Grandchildren Regina, Kelly, Leah, Hannah & Adam Hathaway Brother Glenn (Nancy) Hathaway of Madison He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister, Barbara Hathaway Skidmore and Brothers, Wick & Gerald ?Bud? Hathaway Friends will be received 2-4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2009 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio, with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Rev. William Alvey will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
