Sallie L. Roby

Name: Sallie L. Roby, 86, of Perry, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby. She was born February 2, 1922 in Bluefield, WV to Molly (Woolridge) and Frank Brewster. She retired from Ohio Rubber where she worked for many years Mrs. Roby worked in maintenance for several years at Northridge Lanes in Madison. She loved to walk and could be seen daily around the village of Perry. She was a caring Mother who always worked hard and was sincerely loved by many family and friends. Survived by her daughter, Edith (Dr. Richard) Malena of Phoenix, AZ; son, Roger (Peggy) Barstow of Spring City, TN; 4 Grandchildren, Casey Barstow, Eva Marie Poore, Nicole Senff, Natalie Malena; 7 Great Grandchildren; brother, Churchill ?Shorty? (Ruth) Brewster of Madison and Sister-in-Law, Alice Brewster of Florida She was preceded in death by her Parents; 2 Brothers, James and Howard Brewster; first husband: Lewis L. Barstow and second husband: Jack Roby Friends will be received 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street in Madison. Memorial Service will be 11:00am on Wednesday April 2nd at the First Baptist Church, 3918 Main Street in Perry. Rev. Michael Cole of First Baptist Church will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery.
