Ruth Martha Urcheck

Ruth Martha Urcheck, Age 93 of Geneva, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at her home. She was born on July 5, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to Jakob and Katherine (Messinger) Mueller. She married Walter Urcheck in September of 1944.
She was a 1943 graduate of James Ford Roads High School in Cleveland, and attended Fenn College. Ruth was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a member of the PACE exercise group, and played the kazoo for the "Off Our Rockers" band. She enjoyed sewing and dancing, but most of all, she cherished her friends and family.
Ruth leaves behind sons, Gary (Patti Arendt) Urcheck and Norman (Candy) Urcheck; daughter, Carol (Dave) Iosue; grandchildren, Stephanie, Brent, and Carli Urcheck and Kelli (Jim) Keagy; one great-grandchild, Chloe; brother, Ronald Mueller; and sister, Marlene Hanson; daughter-in-law, Sara Jane Sargent, and special friend Paula Domachowski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Urcheck; her parents and sister, Bernice.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio 44041. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva, Ohio.
