Ruth Clare Hartin

Ruth Clara Hartin, age 96, of Dover, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021 at Park Village Assisted Living in Dover. She was born June 13, 1924 in Geneva, the daughter of Henry and Ida H. (Henrietta) Lange. Ruth retired as a registered nurse. She enjoyed to travel and journeyed with her husband to every state and overseas to England. Ruth lived on Lake Erie and read a book a day. As a woman of faith, she participated in the Christian Lutheran Missouri Synod. She is survived by daughter, Jean (Chuck) Wright; son, John (Marie) Hartin; grandson, Joshua (Stephanie) Wright; niece, Melinda Wheeler; nephew, Jeffrey Lange. She was preceded in death by husband, George Hartin; granddaughter, Christina Wright; her parents, Henry and Ida Lange; brothers, Raymond and Ralph "Barney" Lange. A private family graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva will be held at a later date. The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, is assisting the family at this time.
