Russell “Rusty” Gau, 52, of Geneva passed away on September 12, 2023. He was born on October 2, 1970, in Painesville, the son of Roland and Malverie “Annie” Gau.
Russell loved spending time at Geneva-on-the-Lake. He adored going to the game room, and spending time at one of his favorite places, Annie’s. He also had an affinity for collecting money. Everyone who met Russell adored him, and he knew how to bring light to any room.
He is survived by his father, Roland (Jean Winchester) Gau of Geneva; sister, Maria (Ben “Gabby” McKissick) Pillar of Geneva; brothers, Raymond Gau of Perry, Richard Gau of Painesville, Roger Gau of Geneva, and Ronald (Tracy) Gau of Geneva-on-the-Lake. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Roland Gau Jr., Randy Gau; and mother, Malverie “Annie” Gau.
