Roy A. Schlee, Sr., age 79 a resident of Madison, Ohio passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 at Lake East Hospital in Painesville.
Born August 8, 1927 in Cleveland to Emily (Guenther) & George Schlee, Sr.
He married Elaine Simmons on August 26, 1950
Roy served in the United States Merchant Marines after WWII and later re-enlisted with the Marine Corps. Worked for several years at the Rayon Corporation. He was a delivery man for Charles Chips for many years. Retired as a wave solder operator for APSCO. Had a stand set-up at Saybrook Flea Market for 14 years. He was a longtime Member of several Northeast Ohio Coin Clubs.
He is survived by his Wife of 56 years, Elaine Schlee of Madison; Sons Larry Schlee of Grafton; Roy Schlee,Jr of Mentor, Wayne (Lisa) Schlee of Leroy, Brian (Veronica) Schlee of Madison; 2 Daughters Sandra Chadwick of Geneva, Linda Adams of Madison; 12 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; Brother George (June) Schlee Jr of Painesville; Close Family Friend Nancy Robison of Painesville.
He was preceded in death by his Parents
