Ross "Jim" Lomas

Ross "Jim" Lomas, age 84, of Geneva, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Pine Grove in Geneva. He was born April 30, 1929 in Geneva to Elsie & George Lomas and married Carol (Castle) in 1953 in Geneva. Jim served in the U.S. Army and after WWII he served in Germany during the reconstruction. Jim was a general contractor who later worked for the City of Geneva and retired after 17 years of service for the City. He is survived by his brother, William Lomas and many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Lomas; parents, and brother Robert Lomas. Friends will be received 1-2 p.m. Friday, November 1st at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH, 44041 with a funeral service following at 2 p.m. Rev. Larry Wade will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
