Rosa Maria Martin

Rosa Maria Martin, 86, of Willoughby, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. She was born on February 6, 1937, to Sam Acuri and Hazel Smith in Shinston, West Virginia. Rosa worked in food service and real estate. Rosa enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers, and her grandchildren. Rosa and Brooks were married on October 2, 1954. They met when they were about six years old. Brooks and Rosa celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in 2021 before he passed away. They cherished every moment of their lives together. Rosa is survived by her brother, Sam Arcuri; daughter, Shelley (Donald) Jenkins, daughter in law Marsha Martin; Rosa’s 11 grandchildren, Adam (Hali) Jenkins, Britni (Brandon) Poturica, Carri (Andrew) Wiggins, Angela Saunders Lett, Melissa (Dan) Pennell, Kyle Fauble, Melisa Loveland, Phillip (Abby) Fauble, Arbia Bitner, Michaela (Alexander) Koski, Samatha Martin and Sarah Leaman, and Alyssa Pascal, Her nine greatgrandchildren, Ashea Saunders, Cole Lett, Aiden Pennell, Aeris Fauble, Evelyn Koski, Adelaide Koski, Archimedes Koski, Teagan Jenkins, and Elli Poturica, and one great greatgrandchild Merlin D’Archangelo. She is preceded in death by her birth parents: her daughter, Julie Martin, and son, David Martin, and her grandson, Michael Ciulla.
