Ronald James Rainery, age 78, of Leroy passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Euclid, Ohio. He was born March 1, 1939 in Painesville to Elizabeth (Lord) and Merrill Rainery. Ronald married Judith Peterson on August 31, 1961 in Painesville. Ron loved his family and he loved his Lord. He was a member of Lake Church of Christ. Ron was an avid hunter and member of the Lake County Rod and Gun Club. Ron was a First Class Pipefitter for Uniroyal Chemical and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a hardworking and gentle man who will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Judy; daughters, Pamela (Brian) Barr, Karen (Robert) Henry, Deborah Krause; son, James Ronald Rainery; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice (Michael) Obelenus; and aunt, Dorothy Binns. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas and Joe Rainery; sisters, Martha Barto and Mary Allen; and son-in-law, John Krause. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Mr. David Prentice will officiate. Burial will take place at Williams Cemetery in LeRoy Township.
