Ronald E. Sickles, age 83, of Geneva passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Geneva Shores Nursing Home. He was born November 13, 1932 in Windsor, OH to Doris (Noderer) and Grant Eugene Sickles. He married Kathryn Spore in Geneva on September 17, 1955. Ronald served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Geneva VFW Post 6846. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathryn; daughter, Terry (Don) Beckley of Sherrodsville; son, Doug (Michelle) Sickles and daughter-in-law Janice Sickles of Geneva; brother, Carroll Sickles of Fruitland Park, FL; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson complete his family. He was preceded in death by his son, Mitch and his parents. Friends will be received Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, 11am 1pm at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm, officiated by Rev. Larry Wade. Final Resting Place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ron's memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave, Ashtabula, OH, 44004. Condolences may be left online at www.behmfuneral.com
