Ron "Spike" Bromley, Age 91, of Geneva, Ohio, was reunited with his beloved wife on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at home. Born October 9, 1919 in Geneva, to Mildred (Spring) & Clayton Bromley he married Isabella ?Issy? Woodworth October 29, 1941 in Geneva Worked for Rowley Publication in advertising and printing 1955-1983 and was owner/operator of Geneva Printing Services. 1940 Graduate of Geneva High School. Served in the US Army during World War II, serving 5 years in Ohio?s 37th Infantry Division and was stationed in the South Pacific. He received the Presidential Citation and the Bronze Star. He was Past Commander of the Geneva American Legion and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Ambulance District. Served as co-advisor for 12 years of the Geneva 4-H Trail Riders club. Past member of the Geneva Rotarian?s Club and Past President and 18 year member of the Ashtabula Fair Board. Served 22 years at the Geneva Twp. Zoning inspector and was a Township Trustee 1987-2002. He is survived by Daughters, Barbara Bromley of Geneva & Isabella ?Liz? (David) Hart of Geneva; Granddaughters, Polly (Robert) Dille of Ashtabula, Isabella ?Lisa? Morant of Geneva & Jennifer Hart of Ashtabula; Great-Grandchildren, Jordan, Ian, Madelyn, Avery Sister, Beverly George of Geneva. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabella; parents; brother, Clayton Friends will be received 2-4 pm, Saturday, January 29, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Military Honors will be at 4 pm. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.
