Roland Chapman, age 90, of Perry, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living in Mentor. He was born August 13, 1927 in Perry the son of the late Earl and Gladys (Vandevort) Chapman. Roland married Fannie Caudell in Perry on September 27, 1947. Roland served in the US Army stationed in Germany during WWII. He was a gifted woodworker and enjoyed making scale models of many different types of cars. He was a Window Glazier by trade however, he was very proud to have built his own family homes. He is survived by daughters, Penny (Frank) Angeloro and Pam (Bill) Kester; grandchildren: Renae (Alfonso) Munoz, Frank J. (Courtney) Angeloro, Doug (Teofe) Kester; great grandchildren: Bella, Emmie, and Jon (Melanie); great-great grandson Alex; brother: Warren Chapman of Live Oak, FL; sister: Marian Ryel of Chagrin Falls. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Fannie; and his parents. Friends and family will be received from 6-8pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Perry Christian Church, 3270 Call Road in Perry. Pastor Paul Bomeli will officiate the service. The family suggests contributions be made in Rolands name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110 Friends may leave condolences online at www.behmfuneral.com
