RIP my friend. 30 plus yrs. And never a bad time.u r missed Roger .
Roger was a special friend to everyone, especially at the Wagon Wheel. When I think of the Wheel, I think of Roger greeting me every time I entered the door. He was a great host and made everyone feel at home. His father and mine served in combat in WWII and we often talked about them. He was very proud of his Dad. We also had many conversations about the martial arts. Roger was a gentle soul, but was able to resolve any altercation that may arise. Many may not know that he was a highly skilled Ju-jitsu practitioner. We will all miss him and his smile. RIP brother.
Roger, you made me the best quesadillas ever! 😘
When I was a teenager I worked with Roger for a few years and he was always nice to me. My family have been patrons at the Wagon Wheel since I was a kid and my mother still continues to go. Every year for my birthday I still go to the wheel to get wings and I will miss not seeing Roger behind the bar.
