Robin Lee Wheeldon, age 64, of Perry, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born March 25, 1958 in Painesville, the daughter of Thomas and Rita (Seiler) MacWilliams. She married Dan Wheeldon on October 23, 1976 in Painesville. Robin was a 1976 graduate of Perry High School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and vacationing at the beach. The most important job in Robin’s life was caring for her grandchildren, playing games with them and making cherished memories. The family would like to thank Amber, Lydia, and the entire staff of Hospice of the Western Reserve for their excellent care of Robin. She is survived by her husband, Dan; daughter, Sarah (Sebastian) Cassius; son, Benjamin Wheeldon; grandchildren, Shane Mitchell, Brianna Mitchell, and Brooklyn Cassius; sisters, Loretta Field, Evelyn (Jim) Conrad, Patty (Joe) Passafiume; brother and sister-in-law, Peggy and Dan Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Joan Wheeldon; sisters, Colleen Gorby and Donna Willhoite; brother-in-law, Don Gorby; sister-in-law, Beverly Hebert. Friends will be received 6-8 pm Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Friday, May 20th at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 North State St, in Painesville.     I am so sorry for your loss. I can never thank Robin enough for being so good to my mom and making sure she she called her every week ! Robin handled her illness with such dignity and now she is at peace surrounded by all of her loving family in heaven. She loved you all so much and I know you all loved her very much too! My love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time .
