Roberta Rae (Robinson) Balaban, age 67, of Thompson, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at her home. She was born March 27, 1952, to Carol (Melcher) Kelley and Robert Robinson.
Her three children and eight grandchildren were her greatest joy. She also enjoyed doing crafts, reading books, and travelling. Those who knew her can attest to her golden heart; one of the sweetest people anyone could know.
She is survived by son, Stephen (Meaghan) Balaban of Chagrin Falls; daughter, Theresa (Rich) Sternad of Thompson; grandchildren, Jason, Jacob, Nicholas, Caitlyn, Lucas, Caleb, Alexis, and Arianna; siblings, Ken Robinson, Randy Robinson (Kathy), Nancy (Alan) Brown, Colleen (Wayne) Ball, Brenda Donahue, Cheryl Barr, Bob Robinson, and Jim Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jason; sister, Vickie; and her parents.
Family will receive friends Friday, December 13, 2019, between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, at the Behm Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH, 44057; a memorial service will be held directly after. A private burial service will take place at Madison Memorial Cemetery, Saturday December 14, 2019.

Robbie was my best friend for 67 yrs. We were inseparable as kids and later in life when miles separated us we still remained close. She was a blessing to me and I will miss her everyday. She was more than a best friend, she was family.
