Robert Shaw

Robert Shaw, age 84, of Unionville, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at University Hospitals Case Western. Robert was born on February 13, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Milton and Paula (Morlock) Shaw. He graduated from Brush High School Class of 1948. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. Mr. Shaw was employed with Park Ohio and retired from Tridelta Industries as an electronic technician. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Painesville F & AM Lodge #28. Mr. Shaw is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret (Moser) Shaw; son, Robert L. (Elizabeth) Shaw of LaPlanta, MD; daughter, Paula (Richard) Talbot of Maplewood, MN; grandchildren, Emily (Tony) Crawford, Megan and Amy Shaw and Sarah (Jared) Olhoft; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, with Rev. Aaron Drews, of Unionville United Church, officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Saturday. Inurnment will follow services at Alexander Harper Cemetery, where military honors will be performed.
