Robert S. Hollar

Robert S. Hollar, age 78, of Madison passed away Tuesday July 8, 2014 at Cardinal Woods. He was born on December 18, 1935 in Cleveland, the son of the late Jeanette (Price/Wakelee) and Albert W. Hollar. He married Joan R. Lenz on February 14, 1964 in Cleveland. Robert served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He loved NASCAR. He loved to drive and even took the Richard Petty Driving Experience class. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Joan of Madison; daughters, Gail C. Jones of Findlay and Diane A. Burt of Mentor; son, Robert S. Hollar II of Mentor; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be 11AM Saturday July 12, 2014 at North Madison Cemetery in Madison. Reverend Anna M. Pohl will officiate.
