Robert Richard Peine

Robert Richard Peine, son of Carl F. and Estella (Bruening) Peine passed away February 10, 2025 at Meadow Falls of Madison, (formerly Lantern of Madison). He was born in Kirtland on October 3, 1931.

Robert enlisted in the US Airforce in 1951 and he served until 1956. He worked at R.W. Sidley from 1951 until his retirement in 1999.

In 1957 he married Donna Jean (Cannon). They had two sons Kirk (Kellie) Peine and Todd (Amy) Peine.

He is survived by his sons; grandchildren, Courtney E. (Nick) Toth, Tyler (Penny) Peine and Dr. Rachel (Ryan) Goble; step grandchildren, Bridget (Trevor) Schwab, Buckey Bond and Ben (Julie) Bond and brother, Carl “Bud” (Sandy) Peine.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna J. (Cannon) Peine; his parents; sister, Irene Klag and brother, Albert Peine.

Friends will be received 10 am to 11 am Saturday, February 15th at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH with a service immediately following at 11 am. Contributions may be made in Robert’s name to Traditions Hospice, 677 Alpha Drive, Ste H, Highland Heights, OH 44143. Final Resting Place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
