Robert Rauth

Robert Rauth, 74, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2016, at A Caring Choice Adult Family Home in Kirkland, Washington. He was born on July 23, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Emmaline (Moody) and Richard A. Rauth. Robert graduated from Thompson High School Class of 1959. He married Patricia Tyukody in Painesville on June 30, 1977. Robert retired from Penray in Wheeling, IL, where he served as the VP of Manufacturing. In Robert's younger years, he was very involved with his racecar, Pegasus. He started out at Thompson Raceway and toured the country with the car. He later worked for Be-Kan in Painesville and then became Director of Manufacturing for STP Corporation in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In his later years, Robert refurbished toner cartridges and enjoyed his computer. Mr. Rauth is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Rauth; daughter, Lisa (Michael) Jensen; brother, Richard Rauth; granddaughter, Charlotte; and a second grandchild to be born in February. He was preceded in death by his parents Emmaline and Richard A. Rauth; his mother, Frances D. Rauth; and a sister-in-law, Carol Rauth. Funeral services will be held July 23, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at the Thompson United Methodist Church, 6758 Madison Rd., Thompson with Rev. Jonathan Cooney, officiating. Calling hours will be held at the church from 11 A.M. until time of services at 12 P.M. Final resting place will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Robert may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, PO BOX 74924, Cleveland, Ohio 44194-4924. My dearest Uncle Bob, oh my God … You will be missed soooooo much. I admired you Uncle Bob and always will. Racing !!!! WOW!!! Man I know having retiring that Mustangs Power was a difficult thing to do. The excitement and rush had to have been euphoric. You rocked the track .
