Robert R. Gallagher

Robert R. Gallagher, 77, of Painesville, passed away in peace on June 2, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born May 31, 1940 in Painesville to the late James and Lula Gallagher. Bob worked at TRW in Euclid for over 30 years. He will be remembered for his cheerful optimism and joking sense of humor. Bob was a wonderful father and grandfather who enjoyed cooking his famous cabbage rolls. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Eric (Robin) Gallagher of Rome, OH and Adam (Katie) Gallagher of Chesterland; mother-in-law, Angie Lucreczi of Painesville; grandchildren, Nick, Amber, Ashley, Kyle, Devin, Kayla and Sydney; great grandchildren, Dominick, Lane, Connor and Sage. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Gallagher; 2 brothers and 6 sisters. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Mary Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville, OH 44077. The family is being served by The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057.
