Robert P Wilson

Robert P. Wilson, Age 86, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at home. Born March 4, 1926 in Portage, PA, to C. Hazel (Hinkledire) & Roy C. Wilson; married Norma E. Kring on July 28, 1947 in Cumberland, MD. Robert was a member of Civilian Conservation Corp and joined the military at a young age serving with the U.S. Navy Seabees in the South Pacific during World War II. He worked as a coal miner for 25 years and was a member of the UMWA. In the early 60's he and his family moved to Madison and he worked for several construction companies and the Perry Power Plant. The family would like to thank his attendants from Lake Health Home Care for their loving care. He is survived by Daughters: Diann (Dennis) Spring of Madison Joyce (Roger) Smith of Orwell Sons Bob (Mimi) Wilson of Madison Michael (Kelly) Wilson of Bluffton, SC 9 Grandchildren 17 Great-Grandchildren 1 Great-Great-Grandchild 7 Brothers and Sisters He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; his parents; 6 brothers and sisters Friends will be received 5-8 PM, Thursday, November 1, 2012, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 2, 2012 at the funeral home Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
