Robert L. Clause

Robert L. Clause, age 91, of Perry passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011. Born October 10, 1919 in Mentor to Elmer and Anne (Fitzgerald) Clause Robert worked as a Carpenter for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 0095 He married Joyce Coppock in 1949 A Graduate of Mentor High School Robert served in the US Army during WWII. A Prisoner of War he was captured in Germany and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Western Reserve Chapter. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with his dogs. Robert is survived by Daughter: Gail Kunkle of Florida, Son: Michael Clause of Oregon Grandchildren: Deborah Watson, Matthew and Benjamin Kunkle and Chelsea Clause 3 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandson He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife Joyce, and 2 Sisters: Eleanor Lamers and Virginia Clause Private family services will be observed. Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery
