Robert K. Brown Jr.

Robert Karr Brown Jr. of Madison, Ohio formerly of Beaver, PA. Born September 18, 1937 in Rochester, PA; passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Cleveland Clinic on February 4, 2011. Bob received a degree in Business Administration from Geneva College in 1959. Bob was employed by Michael Baker Jr. Inc for 26 years , retired from Spang & Company after 22 years as Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations. He also served on the Board of Directors during retirement. He was preceded in death by his son Robert K. Brown III in 1993 and parents Robert K. Brown Sr. and Jean Moore Brown. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Marlene R. Brown, a brother James M. Brown (Susan) of Veneta Oregon and a sister Barbara Brown Colicchio (Michael) of Knoxville, Tennessee. He is also survived by son Benjamin E Brown, a daughter Laurie Brown Roorback (William), and son Joshua R Brown (Daphane) and grandchildren Travis Brown, Shannon Brown, Savannah Brown, Madison Brown, Jordan Roorback, Brooks Roorback and several loving nieces and nephews. Extended family include Terri Brown Omdahl and Betsy Brown. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 252 College Avenue Beaver, PA 15009 at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 12, 2011. The family would like to thank all the compassionate nurses and doctors in the ICU at the Cleveland Clinic for all of their efforts.
