Robert Greig Rush

Robert Greig Rush of Geneva, Ohio, passed away in Easton, Pennsylvania on August 22, 2017 at the age of 80. He had been a resident of Geneva since 2001. Prior to that, he had been a lifelong resident of Painesville and Perry. Robert was a graduate of Harvey High School and attended Bowling Green University. He retired in 1992 after thirty seven years at the Painesville Post Office where he worked as a letter carrier. In the past, Robert was a bowler and an occasional golfer but his true passion was playing baseball and softball. He enjoyed reading about many subjects but his favorite was the history of war. He loved music, trains and building model airplanes. Robert was born on March 15, 1937 in Painesville, Ohio, the son of Charles and Helen Rush, ne̓e McKelvey. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Phyllis and his son Greig Thomas Rush. His brother, William Rush of Painesville, Ohio, passed away soon after him in October of 2017. He is survived by his daughter Beverly Wunderlich (Donald) and his granddaughter Danielle Wunderlich of Easton, Pennsylvania. A memorial service and interment will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Perry Center Road Cemetery in Perry, Ohio at 10:00 AM. The Reverend Donald E.
