Robert E. Bugbee

Funeral service for Robert E. Bugbee, age 70, of Madison Township, will be Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 6:00 pm. (ceremony casual) at Chapel United Methodist Church, 2019 North Hubbard Road, Madison . The Rev. Robert Gaston will officiate. Light refreshments to follow. Born August 14, 1940, in Ashtabula and passed away May 12, 2011 at home in Madison in the presence of his loving family. Bob graduated from Madison High School in 1959. He was the current owner of Chapeldale Laundromat with his longtime friend and business partner of over 30 years, William Ely. He was the owner of Roman IV Restaurant in Concord, Ohio for 18 years and was the co-owner of Red Head Motors in Madison. He was the first Detective Sergeant on the Madison Township Police Department where he served the community for 11 years. He also worked at Sears Roebuck Company for 12 years, Industrial Rayon Corporation in Painesville and he served in the Ohio National Guard. Survivors are his Children, Beverly (Steven) Bugbee-Downey of Orlando, Florida and Frank and Jason Mramor of Madison; Sister, Ruth (Bugbee) Kelly of Madison; Grandchildren, Jim (Bugbee) McHugh, of Madison; Casey and Katie Limoli of Madison; Caylin and Kassidy Bugbee of Madison; Kylee Mramor of Madison, Jake Downey of Orlando, Florida and Justine Bilski of Port Orange, Florida. Bob was preceded in death by his Parents, Russell and Jean (Thorpe) Bugbee; Brothers, Kenneth and David Bugbee and Sons, Gregory and Geoffrey Bugbee. The family suggest contributions be made in Robert?s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44119. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, OHIO 44057.
