Robert E. Blake

Robert E. Blake, age 87, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday January 10, 2013. He was born August 29, 1925, in Detroit, to Dolly Elizabeth & William Earnest Blake. Robert was a Welder Serviceman and Machine Repairman. He was in the US Navy from 1942-1946, and was affiliated with the Remember When Band, Porter's Fun bunch, and was an amateur radio operator. He is survived by Daughters Pamela McCarty, Patricia Ann Walz; Son, Richard Nezat; 7 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, His First Wife Madeline (Carden) and His Second Wife Laura (Warner), as well as his Son Robert Nathan. Friends will be received 1-3 PM on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Robert's Final Resting Place will be at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery in Cleveland.
