Robert Dean Rose

Memorial services for Robert "Rosie" Dean Rose, 71, of Madison, will be 4 p.m. Saturday at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. Mr. Rose passed away April 22, 2007, at his residence. Born March 5, 1936, in Fresno, Calif., he was the son of Arvin and LaPreal (Carter) Rose. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Perry Congregation and Carpenters Union. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, traveling and riding motorcycles. Mr. Rose was a district manager for Harmon Glass Company. Survivors are the mother of his 10 children, Nadine Rose; children, Corrinne (Ronald) Abbott of Florida, Cheryl (Dalton) Starkey of Madison, Debra (Daniel) Kessler of Madison, Dennise (Richard) Lesko of Utah, Tina (Larry) Wood of Tennessee, Kolleen (Theodore) Ransom of Madison, Robert (Cristela) Rose Jr., of Nevada, Daniel (Christine) Rose of Florida, Candice (Peter) Tannish of Perry and Michael Rose of Florida; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jenny, Jackie, Tiffany, Deanna, Kari, Nikki, Scott, Josh, Justin, Gabby, Kelsi, Kiana, Kyla, Kaiden, and Lane; great-grandchildren, Chase, Joey, Natalie, Lexi and C.J.; and sisters, Dixie Brentlinger of Washington, Bonnie Owens of Utah and Shirley Faulk of Willoughby. His parents, Arvin and LaPreal (Carter) Rose; brother, Junior; sister, Maxine; and twin siblings, Scotty and Dorothy, are deceased. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Dale Kordes of Jehovah Witness Perry Congregation will officiate the service.
