Robert D. Idle

Robert D. Idle, age 71 of Madison, Ohio, passed away, Friday, May 3, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland. Robert was born on February 27, 1942 in Cleveland to Betty (Keller) and Raymond Idle. He married Linda (Renner) on March 25, 1972 in Willowick. Robert was a 1960 graduate of Eastlake North High School. He joined the Army, serving in Vietnam as an explosive ordnance specialist. He attended Lakeland College. Robert was the owner and operator of A.C. America. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and working on cars. He is survived by his wife, Linda Idle of Madison; daughter, Shannon (Derrick) Eaves of Sherkston Ontario Canada; son, Matthew Idle of Strongsville; 3 grandchildren, Emily, Kyle and Daniel; mother, Betty Idle of Mentor, brothers, Ken (Cynthia) Idle and Don (Kay) Idle both of Ft. Myers Fl; and sister, Cheryl (John) Gilliam of Eastlake. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 pm., Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am, Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at St. Cyprian's Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, Ohio 44081. Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery, Middle Ridge Rd. Perry, Ohio.
