What impressed me about Bob was that with all his years of sobriety, he kept coming to meetings – talking with the new person, etc. He could have sat back (lolling in the Florida sunshine), but he didn’t. What a great power of example!!!
Prayers and love.
My heart goes out to Ellen and all of the children and family. He TRULY loved all of you, with all his heart. To think, Bob waited for ALL of us, what miracle! With love, gratitude, and the greatest of sympathy. Catherine A Glosser

May God’s love and grace be with you all during in this difficult time.
THANKS BOB.
My deepest condolences to Ellen and the Costello family. I always smiled when I heard Bob’s voice coming into the office, as he did for many years before me. His wit was so sharp and extensive that I usually didn’t even realize he was being serious until moments later. He was always light years ahead of the game. Just loved speaking with him. He asked me a few times “what’s the name of your homegroup” and I would tell him as if to insinuate he would stop out sometime. And, he did! Not only that, after the meeting he was outside and introduced me to a new person. What an example. He will be sorely missed.
I fondly your dad when we were kids at Assumption. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time and for the difficult times to come.
