Robert "Bob" W. Dewey

Robert W. “Bob” Dewey, age 85, passed away March 19, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born February 5, 1936 in Painesville the son of Robert Warren and Bessie (Wilson) Dewey. Bob served in the US Marine Corps and married Sharon Lynn Sedivy on November 11, 1961 in Chardon, OH. He enjoyed camping, watching football and walking his beloved dogs; yet most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and especially attending his grandkids sporting events. He leaves behind his wife Sharon; son, Robert (Sandi) Dewey; daughters, Kelly (Darrell) Knight and Kim (Jim) Berkey; grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, Mason, Kayla, Megan, Nathan and Evan; great-grandchildren Tyler, Taelyn and Sophia; sister, Sandra Turner and many beloved nieces, nephews and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Zindarsic; and brother, Thomas Dewey. Friends will be received 5-7 pm, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Guests are required to follow pandemic guidelines and practice social distancing. A Private Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson.
