Robert "Bob" Rought

Robert A. "Bob" Rought, age 82, of Perry, Ohio, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township, Ohio.
Born July 31, 1930 in Painesville, Ohio, he was a lifelong Perry resident and a graduate of Perry High School. Bob was drafted into the Army from 1951 until 1953, at that time he and his father started Rought's Poultry Farm. In 1960, younger brother, Larry, joined his father & brother. Bob was Vice President and a board member of Lake County Farm Bureau for many years and was also a board member of A.S.C.S/Farm Service Agency. He was a kind, soft spoken, caring man , known as "Uncle Bob" to all his friends and family
Survivors include Brother, Lawrence (Carol) Rought; Nephew, Douglas (Jeannine) Rought; Niece, Sandra (William) Hitchcock and many more nieces and nephews; also good friend, Gladys Streets.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Audrey M. (Turner) & Archie A. Rought; Sister, Bernice Jackson; Brother, Wayne Rought.
Friends will be received 1-4 PM, Sunday, December 2, 2012 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio with a service following at 4:00 PM.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, December 3, 2012 at The Rought Family Plot at Perry Cemetery.
