Robert A. Schubert, age 60, of Jefferson, passed away November 26, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. He was born November 13, 1953 in Austinburg the son of Theresa (Hansinger) and Alfred D. Schubert Sr. He married Gail Gramberg in Jefferson on May 21, 1994.
Robert worked for many years as a supervisor at Tree Tyme Nursery in Austinburg. An avid coin collector he loved a good game of horseshoes, bowling, hunting and fishing with his grandkids. He leaves behind his good 4-legged friend Bart.
He is survived by his children, Heidi (Craig) Arnold of Ashtabula, Brian (Kelli) Schubert of Oklahoma City, OK, Richard Schubert of Wilmington, NC, stepchildren; Tamara (Richard) Warner of Madison, Teresa (Brian) Zedik of Madison, Michael (Linda) Seitz of AL, Franklin Seitz of Madison; grandchildren Allison, Joshua, Holly, Briana, Christian, Victoria, Elizabet, Matthew, Hailey, Shayla, Mario, William, Scott; brothers, Alfred Jr., William, Carl, Gerald and Randy Schubert; and sister Betty Czack.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Gail; brother Max; and his parents.
A memorial celebration will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 2020 State Route 307 in Austinburg. Parking will be available at Tree Tyme Nursery across the street from the residence.
Final Resting Place will be Greenlawn Cemetery in North Kingsville.
