Rickey Lee Fields

Rickey Lee Fields, age 53, of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio, passed away, while surrounded by his family, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born on August 30, 1962, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Loretta (Johnson) and Tommy Fields. Rickey was a graduate of DeKalb High School in Texas. He was a self-employed carpenter, known throughout the area for his beautiful work. He was proud to have learned woodworking, his life's trade, from his Grandpa Johnson. Rickey loved to share a good laugh, was always willing to help someone in need and honestly believed in doing the right thing. He was truly a loyal friend and many friends would say that Rickey was the family you invited into your own. His greatest joy was his children and grandbabiesand everyone else's grandbabies, too! Rickey will be deeply missed but his smile will live in our hearts forever. Rickey leaves to survive his beloved daughters, Sunshine and Kody Fields; his sisters, Melba Fields and Sandra (Terry) Cox; his brothers, Randy (Elaine) and Wayne Fields; brother-in-law, Larry Beduhn; granddaughter, Keirah; and grandchildren, Nathan and Hailley Fields; and their mother, AmieRae Hook. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Andy Fields; and his son, Rickey Lee Fields Jr. Private Services will be observed.
