Richard "Rich" Entler

Richard “Rich” Entler, age 68, of Madison, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. He was born on January 15, 1958, in Spangler, Pennsylvania, the son of Richard A. and the late Margie (Holtz) Entler.

A 1976 graduate of Lake Catholic High School, Rich went on to build a respected career in engineering and technical analysis. He was a long-term employee of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where he dedicated over twenty years of service as a Senior System Analyst. Outside of his professional life, Rich was a car enthusiast who enjoyed spending time working on and following automotive trends.

Rich is survived by his father, Richard A. Entler; his sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Vencl and her husband, Kenneth; and his nieces, Nichole Hoffman (Stuart) and Taylor Vencl (Caitlin Howard). He is also survived by his former wife, Bonnie Entler, and an extended family of cousins and aunts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Entler, in 2021.

At Rich’s request, no formal memorial services will be held. For those wishing to honor his memory, the family suggests contributions to Seeds of Literacy, a non-profit organization dedicated to adult education and GED preparation.
