Richard L. Nelson, age 56, of Painesville, Ohio passed away Friday, March 4, 2016. He was born May 29, 1959 in Painesville to Elizabeth (Leasure) and Adelbert Nelson.
He enjoyed singing Elvis, landscaping and roller-skating.
He is survived by his brothers, Thomas (Shelia) Nelson of Painesville, David (Sherry) Nelson of Missouri, William (Denise) Nelson of Mentor, Terry (Tracy) Nelson of Painesville, Larry Nelson of Missouri; sisters, Mary (Dennis) McKinley of Ashtabula, Carol Blake of Rome; aunts, Carolyn Williams and Barbara Leasure of Painesville; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert and Jon Nelson.
There will be no services. The family requested a private viewing on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery, Center Road, Perry Ohio in June.
Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
