Richard L. Fischbach

Richard L. Fischbach, age 80, of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Saybrook Landing. He was born May 8, 1942 in Thompson, the son of Clarence and Sally (Campbell) Fischbach. Richard retired from Cross Country truck driving after 50 years. He loved his career on the road, and enjoyed spending time with his family when he was home. He is survived by his children, Timothy (Veronica) Fischbach, Colleen Schultz, Dennis, Shawn, Richard, and Bryan (Angie) Fischbach; brothers, Nicholas and Patrick Fischbach; grandchildren, Lisa (Tony) Chin, Damian and Corey Schultz, Tiffany (Dan) Holcomb, Amy Sue Nemerovsky, Michael Jr. (Shey Jin), Nicole, and Codie Fischbach, Cheyenne Cheney, Doug (Kelly) Odegard, Brandy (Leon) Jacks, Samantha (BenJamin) Pahl; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Sylvia, Damian, Maia, Amelia, Chloe, Nyla, Isaac, Shelby, Ashton, Charlotte, Leah, Lane, Owen, Everly, and Harvey. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael R. Fischbach and brother, James Fischbach. Friends will be received from 11-12pm on Friday, July 1^st, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 12:00pm with Pastor Rick Hughes officiating. Final Resting Place will be Maplewood Cemetery in Geneva.
