Richard John Witt

Richard John Witt, age 95 of El Paso, TX, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014. Born July 4, 1918 in Geneva, he was the son of Caroline (Fanslau) & John Witt. Richard retired in 1974 as an accountant for the Army Air Force Exchange Service. He was a graduate of Geneva High School and proudly served in the US Air Force during World War II. He is survived by his son, Richard E. Witt, of Washington, DC; brother, Walter Witt of Geneva and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Witt and brother, Edwin Witt. Friends will be received 6-8 PM, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva with Pastor Jonathan Schroeder, of St. John's Lutheran Church, Geneva, officiating..
