Richard J. Bollas
January 13, 1940 ~ June 5, 2017
Richard James Bollas, age 77 of Madison, Ohio passed away on June 5, 2017. He was born January 13, 1940 in Painesville, Ohio to the late Clara (Andrews) and John J. Bollas. He married the love of his life, Joanne Babic on July 16, 1960.
Rich was a carpenter by trade and a member of Carpenters Union Local 435. He enjoyed being outdoors, walking, woodworking, and listening to oldies music from the 50's and 60's.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne; sons, Richard (Lori) Bollas, Michael (Laura) Bollas; grandchildren, Mark, Matt (Becky), and Craig; brothers, James Bollas, Thomas (Beth) Bollas; and several nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
A Graveside service will be held at North Madison Cemetery, 11:30 am Friday June 9, 2017. Deacon Ken Meade will preside.
Family suggests contributions be made in Richard's name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland OH 44110.
The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is serving the Bollas family at this time.
