Richard H. Molchen

Richard H. Molchen Sr., age 80, of Madison passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at UH Geauga Medical Center. Born November 3, 1943 in Creighton, PA he was the son of the late Henry and Rose (DeCroo) Molchen. He married Edna Mechling on June 21, 1969 in Kittanning, PA. Rich worked as a Supervisor for American Roll Form in Painesville, retiring in 2005. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing as well as working around the yard. He enjoyed trips to the casino with his wife, Edna. Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Edna; daughter, Eva McDaniel; son, Richard (Michelle) Molchen; grandchildren, Douglas, Zachary, Matthew, Jillian, and Jacob; great grandson, Jaylen; sister, Betty Jane Watkins. He was preceded in death by his sister Joanne Frena and his parents. Private family services will be observed. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family at this time.
