Richard F. Beris
January 8, 1952 ~ November 28, 2014
Richard F. Beris, age 62, of Madison, died early Friday morning, Nov. 28, at University Hospital in Cleveland. Richard was born in Chagrin Falls and attended the Orange schools. He loved woodworking, hunting and fishing and was an owner/operator truck driver. This is no ordinary obituary because Richard Beris was no ordinary man...he had two great loves in his life - his family and God. The most amazing gifts he gave to his family: How to survive in the real world and how to make sure you knew if you were going to Heaven (see John 3:16). And now as the phone calls and text messages are rolling in, it has been amazing to us to hear the acts of kindness he did that helped other people along life's way. Unlike other members of his family that live their life more publicly, he stayed behind the scenes and was a strong supporter for them to achieve whatever they were pursuing. He is survived by his wife, Esther Beris; and their two children, Richard J. and Kasie. The visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, at South Madison Baptist Church, 5441 S Madison Rd, South Madison, with a special service at 7 p.m. The family will have a private burial on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m., at Fairview Cemetery in Madison. Memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge 3032 Perry Park Rd, Perry, OH 44081. Arrangements are being handled by Behm Family Funeral Home.
