Richard "Dick" M. McCrea

Richard "Dick" M. McCrea, age 73, of Perry, OH, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township, OH. He was born April 4, 1940 in Sewickley, PA to Margaret (Kost) & William McCrea, Jr. He married Joyce Brainard (Hope) on June 7, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV. Richard retired from Tanner Industries in 1997. Richard was a member of Perry Christian Church and Elk Lodge 549 in Painesville. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Brainard (Hope) McCrea of Perry; daughter, Heather (Dennis) Reilly of New Waterford; stepson, William (Tina Yudin) Hope II of Willowick; step-grandchildren, William (Danielle) Hope III, Meghan (Kevin Sraj) Hope, Sydney Ann Hope, Jessica Yudin and Amber Olsen; brothers, C. Jeffrey (Sandra) McCrea of Grand Prarie, TX, Nate (Kate) McCrea of East Palestine; sisters, Susan (Lee) Zeh of Enon Valley, PA, Mary Ellen (Ronald) Fagnilli of New Castle, PA, sister-in-law, Shirley McCrea of Beaver, PA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William McCrea III; nephew William McCrea IV; daughters Jerri & Kerri McCrea and stepson, James Hope. Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Pastor Janet Mers of Perry Christian Church will be officiating.
