Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. May you rest eternally in the light and love of our Savior. Thank you for the shepherding, friendship, and spiritual direction.

  2. Dear Colleen and Michael, I am so sorry to hear of Bryan’s passing. I don’t know if you remember me, but your parents and mine were friends at the boat club when you were kids and I was an older kid. I am so very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Vickie (Rogers) Mowry

  3. Pastor Bryan will be missed for many reasons! I will miss his ridiculous antics like him “stealing” my phone while I was conducting choir practice and later finding some funny selfies. Also, he was a great source of support to me when I had struggled finding some perspective on a problem. My husband will miss him as the pastor that performed a beautiful ceremony for our wedding on October 10, 2020 and for the guidance he gave counseling us prior to our wedding. My son had an accident a few years back and pastor Bryan took him to some physical therapy appointments (because I couldn’t miss any more work) and showed genuine care and concern for his recovery. He offered an ear to hear him out and respected my sons position on his religious journey and never pushed his views or opinions on him, for that my son was very thankful. The biggest “take-away” I remember him preaching was on giving…which he did not like to preach about! He said that everyone has something to offer to the church…you should give 1 of the three “T’s,”give your Time, Talents or Tithes! That has stuck with me always! Our Geneva church will never be the same without him and it’s going to take some time to get used to not seeing him walk in and proclaim to be “incorrigible. ” Peace to you pastor Bryan. 4. I am so sad to learn that Bryan is gone! He was a close friend in seminary and a major supporter when times were especially tough for me. Words cannot fully express the difference he made. My prayers are with all who knew and loved him: his friends, family and congregation – and countless others who were touched and helped through his ministry.

  5. So sorry to hear of the loss of Bryan. We met at Lakeland, went to Valparaiso together and Northern Baptist Theological Seminary together. We had such a blessed life. He was so funny and loving.
