Raymond L. Ellis, Age 71 Resident of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio Born February 17, 1938 in Geneva to Marge (Ernst) & Orrie Ellis, married Janet Wachsmuth July 6, 1957 in Geneva Owned Geneva Pipeline, a partnership with Craig Parker & Paul Wayslaw 1956 Graduate of Geneva High School where he participated in football, basketball, baseball and track. Loved to golf and played softball for the North Center Tavern. Member of Geneva Athletic Boosters where he served as President. Ray loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by Wife: Janet Ellis, of Geneva; Sons, Brad (Kim) Ellis of Geneva & Doug (Sandy) Ellis of Solon 5 Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Stephen, Michael, Charlie & Christian; Mother, Marge Drought of Geneva; Sisters, Pat Talkington of Geneva & Terri Siebeneck of Geneva. He was preceded in death by his father Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2009, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Friday, September 18, 2009, at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, with Rev. Melvin E. Rusnak officiating.
